Efren "Bata" Reyes is more than just one of the best pool players in the world. For many, he was a living legend.
A hot, sunny Saturday afternoon at the end of March and Efren Reyes presents an exhibition. It is the City of Angeles, the town of Efren, and the place is Margarita Ville, a popular bar and restaurant on Field's Avenue. Efren came here at the invitation of his friend from America, John, the owner, to enjoy the friendly swimming pool.
The current skeptics are mostly foreigners, making up the majority of Margarita Ville's customers. They lined up for a chance to face the lord, take a picture with him, and could one day tell their friends around the bar, "I played against Efren Reyes, the greatest pool player in the world."

The bet for each match is $ 10. The first person to win seven games wins money. Of course, Efren should give each challenger a major disability. He almost gives up the game. In 9-Ball, where the balls must run in succession until the winning nine balls have sunk, all the opponent has to do is sink four, six or nine and he wins. And opponents will always be destroyed. Even so, no one hopes to defeat Efren.
Wearing a pair of jeans, a short polo shirt, and rubber sandals, Efren, the man they called a “magician” in the United States for his extraordinary ability, was working at a desk. Every now and then, he smokes a cigarette or laughs at her charming smile. A notable disadvantage is the teeth in front of Efren. When he was on tour in the United States, he wore it, but when he was at home, he wanted to rest.
In the methodological method, he throws a series of opponents. He usually, seems effortless, shot after shot, always leaving the cue ball in the perfect position for the next shot. Most of the time, he runs all nine balls without losing.
